Chairman Of Bod’S Message

I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all of our stakeholders who have advanced the reputation of Dewey International University since we opened in 2010. On behalf of the Board of Directors, my special thanks go to our students and alumni, faculty and staff, and Cambodia’s Ministry of Education Youth and Sports (MOEYS) for their continued and unwavering support. DIU has become a leader and forward thinker in providing trusted educational services to our communities of northwestern Cambodia. We have maintained a steadfast focus on those we serve. This is core to our success. It is who we are. Students select DIU for the learning environment it provides and its emphasis beyond academics. Our students live our motto of “Learning by Doing” as they undertake challenging programs designed to stimulate their creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities. Whether pursuing an Associate, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree from DIU, students will encounter our “Six-in-One” training policy, which stresses not only skills in their major, but also English for Communication, Leadership and Ethics, Entrepreneurship, Computer Skills, and Technical Experience. Our graduates are fully equipped to step into a world of rapidly changing technologies as responsible global citizens; they are eager to work collaboratively to tackle globally pressing issues. Consequently, we know the DIU experience must prepare our students well for their next season of life anywhere in the world. Our Board of Directors, management team, and staff routinely collaborate with an international advisory council. I am particularly proud of DIU’s progress establishing many international partners in Europe, Asia, USA, and Australia, which are expanding our students’ opportunities and perspectives. We aspire to gain a favorable, global reputation unparalleled by other universities in Cambodia. Let me also take this opportunity to warmly welcome our new students.
